Stop looking for things to complain about

We now in this country have reverted to bringing back the days of the witch hunt. Remember those days we read about (for those that actually bother to read) where the overly pious would search for any signs that anyone might be a witch. They looked at women to see if they possessed any type of supernatural powers or signs of abnormal behavior that included things like not sharing the same overly pious attitude about things.

We thought these days ended hundreds of years ago but alas they did not. Remember the McCarthy era?

Now instead of witches or communist sympathizers we look for any signs that someone might be overly liberal. The latest person on the list seems to be Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine who’s completely innocent comment he made during a tv game show has now turned him into a Fox News lead story

Turns out that what Levine said was “I hate my country” and the reason he said it was that two of his contestants on the GAME SHOW that he was hoping to win had been voted off. The comment had the same weight as when he tells Blake Shelton “I hate you” when he steals a contestant away on the GAME SHOW.

However the LFL’s aka Looking for Liberals were thrown into a tizzy when the comment was made. Now Adam Levine is actually having to justify the statement that is as equal as me saying “I hate Mondays” when let’s face it… I don’t really hate Monday’s I just hate how they make me feel sometimes. I think Adam Levine just hated how he felt when two of his contestants were voted off the game show. I doubt we will see Mr. Levine moving to Canada anytime soon. I also don’t doubt we will see more ridiculous searches for throwaway comments that can somehow be turned into anti-american sentiment by the overly pious.
