Stop defending the racist

once again today I talk about LA CLIPPERS owner Donald Sterling and the imbeciles who continue to defend him. Yesterday the NBA slammed the hammer down and levied a 2.5 million dollar fine and a lifetime ban on the racist Sterling. NBA commissioner Adam Silver also said that the rest of the league is going to force Sterling to sell his LA CLIPPERS team.
Upon the news breaking, Social Media was inundated with morons that were for some reason throwing their support behind Sterling. Everyone suddenly became an expert on audio tape rules for the state of California and many more were talking about their constitutional right to freedom of speech. So here we go again… the funny thing is its the same people who never learn. The same jackwagons who complained when the duck dynasty hillbilly got suspended or Paula Deen got fired are the ones who are complaining about this by evoking the constitution. So For the handful of dolts that haven’t realized it yet here goes..
The First amendment covers the citizen from having their rights infringed upon by the government because of something they said. The first amendment does not cover you from being punished by people you choose to go into business with once you become bad for business. So go on and keep rooting for racists all you want and pretending you are a constitutional expert but this is not Free speech issue its a free market issue. One person on facebook went as far as to say that soldiers died fighting for Sterlings right to say those terrible things and that is incorrect, soldiers died fighting for the other owners rights to do what they had to do. That’s how a free capitalist society works.
