Sorry Guys but looks like your movie never happened

Looks like DC Comics and Warner Brothers pictures are going to blow up any and all recent history before going forward with any more superhero movies. Consider the Man of Steel to be Ground Zero in their new Comic book Universe and every other thing that happened simply was just in a parallel universe.

Green Lantern-Premiere in Berlin
Ryan Reynolds was the green lantern

This is bad news for fans of Green Lantern who were hoping Ryan Reynolds would be back as Hal Jordan. Looks like It is on to bigger better and different actors to play the iconic Superhero roles.

DC and Warner Brothers and even the producers of Man of Steel have already told us that the Christian Bale Batman doesnt exist in this universe but now its confirmed that the Green Lantern doesn’t exist either.

This is probably good news as Reynolds movie was one of the worst received Superhero movies we have had based on a major character. I will say this about the Green Lantern movie. The extended version that included more story of Jordan as a youngster played much better than the theatrical version. The rush to edit that movie to as close to 90 minutes as possible really hurt it and the Paralax villain looking so ridiculous didn’t help. When you realize that Man of Steel was almost 2 hours and 30 minutes and had a major villain that mirrored the hero you really question the decision to not have sinestro be the villain in a Green Lantern Orgin Movie that took time to tell the story.

Good news is that DC comics will get another chance to do it again. Lets hope they get it right this time.
