Short term memory loss linked to being a former VP

Former Vice President Dick Cheney presents Heart: An American Medical Odyssey in conversation with Dr. Jonathan Reine during the Miami Book Fair International 2013Featuring: Former U.S. Vice President Dick CheneyWhere: Miami, Florida, United StatesWhen: 23 Nov 2013Credit: JLN Photography/WENN.comOne of the most regular practices of the far reaches of ideologies is a less than exact memory of historical events.

Former vice president Dick Cheney was on the Sunday Morning shows doing the two things he does best,,, taking shots at the Obama Administration and looking for any reason to send American troops onto foreign soil.
While doing it he also exhibited a new phase of far right wing memory loss. This is the kind of memory loss that causes a changing of history from less than a year ago.
Cheney was claiming that Obama refusing to act militarily in Syria is the cause for what Russia and their leader Vladimir Putin is doing in Crimea. So lets have a short history lesson.
IN regards to Syria President Obama immediately reacted with implied and direct military threats towards Asaad in Syria and was met with allegations he was acting like a dictator, and stomping on the constitution, and reminded that he was not allowed to use military force without congressional approval. Remmeber? This was the Fox News Headline for like a week. Then Obama said he would not act without Congressional approval and the Republican House wanted no part of it. They instead changed the dialogue to his being weak for not striking. Eventually he worked out a solution through international channels involving ironically enough… russia.
Bottom line for Dick Cheney and like minded people is this. If anything has made America look weak it has been our Countries inability to do anything without getting our partisan panties in a bunch. Putin knows we are too self involved in our own in fighting to ever have any outfighting. In other words our weakness is created by the same people who are now complaining we look weak.
