And the new Batman is…
And the new Batman is…

The one and only BEN AFFLECK

UCLA School Of Theater Film And Television honors Ben Affleck

I LOVE this decision. Unfortunately I might be the only one. I thought Ben was great as Daredevil. Now in order to come to this conclusion I had to watch the directors cut of the movie and not just the studio release. I think Affleck is great and more importantly “not easy to see as Batman”. This is an integral part of being Batman by the way. I am shocked by the people that say “well I can see him as Bruce Wayne but not as Batman”. These people don’t realize that if Bruce Wayne were real the single most important trait he could possibly possess would be the ability to have people NEVER EVER think of him as Batman.

This whole complaining on the internet thing is ridiculous. I remember 1988 when people went nuts on radio and newspaper by complaining about Michael Keaton being cast as Batman and now the same people constantly say “we need to bring back somebody like Michael Keaton”. What about the people who complained about the gay cowboy Heath Ledger playing the Joker? Where were they when Ledger ended up portraying the greatest comic book movie villain in the history of the genre. What about the people who were making drug addiction jokes about Robert Downey Jr being Iron Man when he was first cast? I’ll tell you where those people weren’t… Hollywood, where they are attempting to make billions of dollars on the new Batman and they did their research.

Trust me on this Ben Affleck is Batman and if you don’t think he is now you definitely will after this movie comes ¬†out. Count on it!!!
