Car Hits Illinois Sheriff's Association Building.
The Illinois Sheriff's Association is going to have to do some work to its building after a car crashed into it on Sunday. Springfield Police say a 17-year-old Springfield resident, Orlando Whiteside, hit a World Peace taxi cab as he was northbound on Washington, and then ran into the Sheriff's Association building. Police have cited Whiteside for driving without a license. The owner of the car was also cited for allowing an unauthorized person to drive her car.
