Sewer Cave-in to Reduce Lanes on South Grand East

The center lanes of South Grand Avenue East will be closed for a week starting tomorrow as crews fix a caved in sewer between 12th and 13th streets.

Public works crews will also close the curb lane of westbound Clear Lake Avenue from Forest Avenue to 24th street tomorrow for tree removal. That should take only a day.

The city urges caution when driving through these areas and if possible, avoid them during heavy traffic times.
