SCSO Reports Another Police Impersonation

The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office is warning of yet another police impersonator incident.

Undersheriff Jack Campbell says an 18 year old woman was approached from behind while driving on South Curran Road near Old Route 36 late Friday. The larger white vehicle had no front license plate. The woman turned on her hazard lights and kept driving, at which point the white vehicle turned east on Mansion Road. She couldn't describe the driver.

This is one of a series of impersonator cases over the past couple of months in Sangamon, Morgan and Macoupin Counties. The Sheriff's Department continues to investigate.
