The Springfield Park Board has scheduled a special meeting this week to discuss the search for a permanent executive director.
The Park Board the district's interim director have been tight lipped since former director Mike Stratton stepped down this month, following allegations he misused district funds for personal reasons.
The board will discuss the search, plus a district-wide audit, in a meeting scheduled for 5:30 on Wednesday at district headquarters at the Bunn Park golf course.
