Cullerton Wants Same Sex Marriage Vote This Month

Senate President John Cullerton wants to pass gay marriage legislation this month.

He told the "Chicago Sun-Times" he'd like to pass the measure out of his chamber on Valentine's Day, and he believes there are enough votes to do it.

The bill will likely get a hearing in committee when the Senate returns to session next week.
