Archivists at the University of Illinois uncover a previously unknown treasure right in their own bookcases.
University officials say a volunteer recently discovered a poem written by late three-time Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Sandburg. Titled "A Revolver" the undated poem was found on a type-written page inside Sandburg's archives at the Rare Books and Manuscript Library. The school thinks the poem may have been inspired by the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
