Leaders of local businesses are joining together to support an initiative to make gay marriage legal in Illinois.  Companies like Google and Groupon joined in yesterday's effort to bring publicity to the same bill which failed before Illinois lawmakers earlier this month.  In an open letter to politicians the area heads of business wrote that gay marriage will "strengthen" the state's workforce and "boost" its economy.
