Three Arrested for Robbery String



Springfield Police have arrested three men in connection with four robberies that occured over the past two months.

Robert Mims and Kevin Johnson of Springfield, and Alvin Mims of Champaign have all been charged in yesterday's North Grand Subway robbery, as well as robberies at Patricia's, the Conestoga Drive Steak 'N Shake and Tobacco Direct.

All three have been charged with one count of armed robbery and three counts of aggravated robbery.
