Arrests Made in October Attempted Murder



Springfield police have issued three warrants for people they say are responsible for an October attempted homicide on South Street.

Springfield Deputy Police Chief Cliff Buscher says 22 year old Typree Jones and 24 year old Deandre Rogers were taken into custody today (Thursday). The third suspect, 26 year old Michael Cummings, is still at large.

Three men entered a home on south street demanding money on October 15th, one man inside was shot four times and hospitalized. The other escaped the home with minor injuries.

Anyone with information regarding Cummings' whereabouts is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 788-8427. Annonymous information leading to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
