Trucker Who Struck Trooper Loses License

The truck driver who struck and killed an Illinois State Trooper last week has been ordered to give up his commercial driving license.  The U.S. Department of Transportation says Johnny Felton Jr. is an 'imminent hazard.'  He was driving for DOT Transportation, Incorporated when he hit Trooper Kyle Deatherage on Interstate 55 last Monday.

Felton lost consciousness because of a medical condition just before he hit the trooper.  Officials say Felton failed to disclose his medical condition when he received his commercial license.  Felton has been ordered to stop driving all commercial vehicles immediately.
