CWLP Taking Project Relief Applications.

City, Water, Light and Power customers who can't seem to pay their heating bill can get some assistance through Project Relief.  The program is taking applications today.  CWLP's Amber Sabin says the individual has to be able to pay some of the bill, has to meet the income guidelines and has to have a past due CWLP bill.  She says once they apply, they'll go through a phone interview.  You should call 789-2414.

CWLP's Project Relief is made possible by other CWLP customers that donate to the program.  180 people were helped last year with $24,000 raised.  The program runs through May unless the money runs out before then.

Sabin says there's an insert in the CWLP bill this month for those customers who are able to donate to the program.  CWLP asks for a $1 donation or more.
