Children's Holiday Store Set to Open Saturday.

The Children's Holiday store is in the old Kiku restaurant (3325 Robbins Road) near Mariah's on the West Side.  Executive Director Karen Cox says little helpers will be ready for the kids.  She says it's a special shopping experience for children who can go shopping with a volunteer and buy items ranging from $1 to $10.  Cox says the parents can list what presents the child is looking for and then the child will get a chance to go shopping while the parents wait.  All of the proceeds from the holiday store go to the Mini O'Bierne Crisis Nursery.  It opens tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am.  If you'd like to volunteer, the Nursery could still use you.  Go to http://miniobierne.org.
