Home Sales Increase in Springfield Area.

Home sales increased in the Springfield area, but prices decreased.  The Capital Area Association of Realtors says home sales increased 18.9 percent from 2011 to 2012 in October.  283 homes were sold in 2012.  The price went down though from 104-thousand to 102-thousand, 500.  CAAR President Don Cave says there were a large number of foreclosure sales in October cotnributing to the drop in the median sale price.
