The Lincoln Collection Receives More Lincoln Letters.

James Cornelius, curator of the Lincoln Collection at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, has accepted a donation of three family letters – two written by Mary and one written by son Robert – addressing the collective generosity of the nation taken after Lincoln was killed, as well as a ledger listing the donors.

Cornelius says donations such as this one are becoming more frequent, and credit is being reflected upon the library and museum.

Cornelius says the letters will be on display soon.
