State Rep. Wants JDC Audit

A state lawmaker is asking for a formal audit of the group transitioning residents out of the Jacksonville Developmental Center.

State Representative John Cavaletto is concerned about how the process of moving residents is being handled.  He's filed a House Resolution asking the Auditor General to conduct an audit of the $1.35 million grant the state is paying Community Resource Associates, which has been contracted to facilitate the transitions.

Cavaletto says he's received reports that that client reviews currently being conducted by CRA have little observation and interaction with the patients before they make their transition recommendations.
