Judge Halts Prison Closures



Prison closures in Illinois are temporarily off.  An Alexander County judge issued a temporary injunction this afternoon on behalf of the union representing prison employees. 

In a statement, AFSCME says Governor Pat Quinn needs to stop the planned closures and focus on making prisons safer.
