A Solar Tour in Springfield Today.

If you've been thinking about doing something to bring your energy bills down, Illinois Solar Energy Association's Michelle Hickey says first you should take energy efficiency measures, then you should consider the next step, a new energy system.

Today is the Association's Solar Tour and you can go to area sites to learn more, including the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives at 6460 South 6th Street Frontage Road East, the Bicycle Doctor at 1037 North Fifth Street and two residences, one at 28 Carole Road and another at 539 West Hoechester.

The tour is from 10am to 3pm.  To find out more go to illinoissolartour.org.
