Actress Amanda Bynes has been charged with two counts of hit-and-run after allegedly fleeing the scene of a car accident twice this year. The "Hairspray" star pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) after colliding with a police car in West Hollywood in April. The case was eventually thrown out as there were no independent witnesses to the incident. But prosecutors in Los Angeles re-opened the case after she was accused of another smash and dash last month. The Hairspray star is due in court on Sept. 27 and faces a year behind bars if convicted, reports TMZ.
