Defense wraps up closing crguments in Drew Peterson trial
Defense attorneys for Drew Peterson are saying the Founding Fathers would be horrified by his murder trial.
During closing arguments today, the defense said there isn't a shred of evidence which proves the former Chicago-area police sergeant killed his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004. Attorneys also blamed Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, for starting a "campaign of rumors" in hopes of getting money.
Stacy Peterson hasn't been seen since 2007. Drew Peterson is suspected but not charged in her disappearance.
