Springfield Offers To Settle Reverse Discrimination Suit

The city of Springfield is offering to settle a race discrimination lawsuit.

The city says it'll pay just over 151-thousand dollars to settle the suit filed by three white police officers in 2004. The suit claims the trio was discriminated against because they left city employment then returned but were not given credit for previous service as was a black officer.
