Christian County Crash Kills One, Injures Five.

Illinois State Police accident reconstructionists are doing an investigation on a van-semi crash this morning just south of Assumption in Christian County.  Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlecamp says the driver of the van died and five passengers of the van were taken to hospitals.

He says it looked like the van hit the trailer of the semi as it was going through the intersection.  Kettlecamp says the semi was going just a little further to go to an asphalt plant and was getting ready to pull into the plant.  The van was carrying two workers and four students from Kemmerer (kim-mer) Village.  He says the students were all teenagers.
