Driver From Fatal Chatham Road Crash Identified.



77-year-old Donald Lawler of Springfield has been identified as the lone fatality of a five vehicle crash that shut down Chatham Road yesterday.

The crash closed down Chatham road for a few hours Thursday evening.  Witnesses from the scene say Lawler went over the center line and hit three cars on the side and another one head on.  No one else involved in the accident was seriously injured.

UPDATE: The coroner has confirmed Lawler died due to multiple chest injuries sustained in the crash.
