Street closures may delay traffic

Archer Elevator Road between Greenbriar Road and Southwoods Road will be under construction starting Thursday, August 2nd, as crews regrade the ditches along either side of the road. Two-way traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

And, Second Street between Reynolds and Carpenter Streets will be closed starting Monday, August 6th, to facilitate two utility adjustments for County Market’s new store. The closure should last two days. Motorists are asked to use the marked detour routes to avoid the area, and drivers that disregard the Road Closed and Do Not Enter signs are subject to a $250.00 fine.
