Jacksonville Teen Charged in April Shooting

Jacksonville Police have arrested a man they believe shot into a crowd of people in April.

Police Lieutenant Chad Moore says 18-year-old Franklin Rattler was apprehended at his home at about 1:15 this morning for a variety of charges ranging from failure to appear in court for speeding to aggravated discharge of a firearm.

The alleged shooting incident took place on April 13th near the intersection of East Douglas and North East.  Moore says Rattler may have been arguing with an individual that was a part of a group of people before allegedly firing the gun into the crowd. Nobody was injured.
