Rail Project Planning in Springfield Moving Right Along.

Hanson Engineers Project Manager Jim Moll says the Environmental Impact Study in front of the Public from IDOT has already had quite a bit of public input.  The study supports a rail move to 10th street from 3rd.  Moll says the public already has given a lot of feedback.  He says the important issues proved to be delays, accidents, train horn noise, safety, and community cohesion.  You can view the plan on the city of Springfield's website.
