New Dem Candidate in 13th Congressional District

There's a new democratic candidate for Illinois' 12th Congressional District.

Former Illinois National Guard head William Enyart was unanimously chosen by a panel of Democrats. Enyart replaces Brad Harriman, who dropped out of the race due to medical reasons.

Enyart will face Republican Jason Plummer in November's general election. Both are vying to fill the seat left vacant by Democrat Jerry Costello.  Costello will be retiring at the end of this term.
