'Terminator 3' star Nick Stahl in rehab, says wife

Troubled "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" star Nick Stahl has checked into rehab, according to his concerned wife.

The missing actor reportedly reached out to friends via email to assure them he is safe after Los Angeles police had begun a search for the fallen star.

In the correspondence, Stahl told friends and loved ones he was seeking treatment for ongoing drug issues, but his estranged wife Rose, who didn't receive a reassuring email, admitted she didn't believe him.

But now, Rose, who had previously told E! News, "I want my husband to come home," has confirmed Stahl is in rehab."

She says, "He wants to be well."

Stahl's wife filed a missing persons report earlier this month after the actor disappeared amid a custody wrangle over the couple's two-year-old daughter.
