The Beatles fans are in for a treat as BBC bosses prepare to release almost 40 unheard performances by the Fab Four.

The second volume of “The Beatles Live At The BBC” is to hit stores in November, and producers have unveiled a tantalising tracklisting of never-heard-before recordings and studio chatter.

The double-album, which is a follow-up to the first volume released in 1994, contains more than 60 recordings from the BBC vaults, including 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 tracks featuring the four musicians talking to the corporation’s radio DJs.

Sir Paul McCartney says, “There’s a lot of energy and spirit. We are going for it, not holding back at all, trying to put in the best performance of our lifetimes.”

The Beatles’ On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 will be released on Nov. 11.
