Weekend Violence: Bullets Fired at East Side Home

Springfield Police are investigating a weekend shooting that may or may not be connected to the recent violence pinned to two groups.

Officers were called to a home on south 25th street Saturday night after getting several reports of shots fired. A window and piece of drywall were damaged inside the home but no one was hurt.

Police say no one inside the house or hanging around outside would give them any information. Anyone who can help is encouraged to call Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers.
