A motorcycle accident on I-55 in Springfield Sunday afternoon has left two dead.  Mitchell Bledsoe, 48, of Normal was pronounced dead at the scene.  His passenger, Karla Blake, 35, of Colfax, died later at Memorial Medical Center.

Illinois State Police are investigating but believe a previous accident in the northbound lanes between Stevenson Drive and South Grand Avenue led to Bledsoe losing control of his motorcyle.  Autopsies are being conducted today.
