A Monday morning accident sent one person the hospital.

Witnesses say a car ran a red light at 11th and Madison Streets shortly after 9am and broadsided another car.  That car then was pushed into a utility pole.

The condition of the driver who allegedly ran the red light is not known.  The accident caused that intersection to be closed Monday morning as crews worked to clear debris.
