Prison as Tourism Stop?

Officials are hoping to turn the old state prison in Joliet into a tourist attraction. They’re hoping to get state permission to have bus and walking tours of parts of the prison, which was built in the mid-1800s.

The facility was featured in “The Blues Brothers” and other film crews have used it since it was closed.
