Springfield Police are looking for help solving an armed robbery at an east side bar.

Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers says a skinny black man about 6’2″ went into Felber’s Tavern on June 28th around 10:00 wearing a mask and carrying a gun. He demanded money, but it’s unclear if he got any. He ran away and fired at a witness that tried following him. No one was injured.

Anyone with anonymous information could be eligible for up to a one-thousand dollar reward. Call Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers at 788-8427, head online or text message tips. Type TIP 672 plus a message and send to CRIMES.
