Springfield Police Investigate More Shootings

Springfield’s crime wave continues. The State Journal-Register reports two incidents had a man shot in the leg and gunshots damaging a house.

A man told police Thursday morning he had been shot in the 2400 block of Ladley Ct.

Earlier in the day, a home in the 2200 block of South 12th was damaged, but nobody was hurt.

The paper also reports the arrest of Lonell Bates, 19, of Springfield for a shots-fired incident Sunday afternoon.
