Schnucks is recalling 130 pounds of curry white meat chicken salad with walnuts because of possible listeria contamination.

The USDA says the product came in sealed three-pound bags and was produced April 24 before being shipped to Schnucks stores for deli distribution in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.

The USDA says the packaging may vary and may bear a purchase date between April 24 and May 2, 2014. Labels or packaging may bear the case code 0989674 or 0963124 as well as establishment number “EST. P-13562” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Rauner Denies Connection to Intimidation by Private Investigators

Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate businessman Bruce Rauner participates in a Republican gubernatorial candidate debate Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Springfield, Ill. The four Republican gubernatorial candidates said that they’ll be willing to work with unions if elected but differed on how to approach the relationship during a downstate debate that largely focused on pension reform, taxes and just briefly on personal issues that have dogged some of the candidates.

Bruce Rauner says he had nothing to do with armed investigators coming up to people who signed nominating petitions for the Libertarian Party.
