Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers wants to pay cash to anyone who can help solve a recent Springfield armed robbery.

Police say two younger black men entered the Gas Depot on north 9th street a little after 10:00 the night of June 13th, one of them had a gun. They tried to open the cash register but couldn’t, so they met a third person outside and ran away through an alley.

Anyone with anonymous information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a one-thousand dollar reward. Call Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers at 788-8427, head online or text message tips. Type TIP-672 plus a message and send to CRIMES.
