Police Seek Tips on South Side Purse Snatching

Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers wants tips that will help solve a south side purse snatching.

Police say a woman was loading items into her car in the Freedom Drive Walmart parking lot when a white man in his 20’s took her purse from the cart. He ran to a maroon colored Pontiac G6 with front end damage and drove away.

Anyone with anonymous information leading to an arrest could get up to a one-thousand dollar reward. Call Crimestoppers at 788-8427, submit tips online text message tips: type TIP 672 plus a message and send to CRIMES.
