Springfield Police are looking for help solving an east side robbery.

Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers says a short black man wearing all black entered the Dollar General on south Dirksen a little after 9:30 Friday night and demanded money. No weapon was displayed or implied. He took money and ran away northbound

Anyone with anonymous information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for a one-thousand dollar reward. Call Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers at 788-8427, head online or text message tips. Type TIP 672 plus a message and send to CRIMES (274637).
