Police Seek Tips on Armed Robbery Near Springfield High School

Police are looking for help solving an armed robbery across the street from Springfield High School.

Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers says two black men stole a wallet from a person on north Parker around 2:30 last Thursday afternoon, May 22. One of the men had short hair and a dark complexion, the other had a shaved head with medium complexion. One of them had a sharp object and stole the wallet.

Any anonymous information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a $1,000 reward. Call Crimestoppers at 788-8427, head online or text message tips. Type TIP 672 plus a message and send to CRIMES (274637).
