Police Seek Purse Snatchers

Police are looking for tips on a purse snatching.

Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers says someone took credit cards and a wallet from a purse at the 6th Street Priority Care and used them to buy thousands of dollars in gift cards at local stores. Police say two people, a tall thin black man and a shorter, heavy set black woman, are suspects.

Anyone with anonymous information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 788-8427, text tips to CRIMES by typing TIP-672 and a message, or going online to cash4tips.us. Information leading to an arrest could net up to a one-thousand dollar reward.
