Police are investigating yet another shooting on Springfield’s east side.

Lt. Tim Scarlette says they were called to the 2000 block of East Cedar overnight for a shots fired call, they found six empty shell casings. Scarlette says it appears the shooters were targeting a home, but the homeowner couldn’t provide any insight.

There are no suspects and no one was injured. It’s unclear if this is related to other recent shootings in the area.
