Nobody Hurt in Emergency Landing

A homemade airplane made a safe landing during the noon hour Sunday in Logan County.

State police say Roger Thompson of Springfield was flying home from Oshkosh when it lost power. Thompson landed on a county road, nobody was hurt, and the plane was taken away.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
