Man Shot in Fla. Movie Theater Has Central Illinois Ties

The man shot dead in a movie theater altercation near Tampa, Florida is originally from central Illinois.

The Facebook page of Chad Oulson shows he’s originally from Mt. Sterling and graduated from Brown County High School.

Oulson was shot dead by a retired police chief after Oulson was allegedly texting his three year old daughter during previews. He died at a Tampa area hospital. The shooter, Curtis Reeves, has been charged with second degree murder.
