Kincaid Tries to Move On

Kincaid Village Board members accepted the resignation of Mayor Doug Thomas Monday night.

Thomas faces a number of criminal counts including official misconduct, possession of a controlled substance and, violations of an order protection.

The village’s lone police officer also tendered his resignation Monday night.  The Christian County Sheriff’s Department and the Illinois State Police are filling the gap until the board decides their next step.
