Kincaid Mayor Doug Thomas was released Friday afternoon after posting 10-percent of his $30-thousand bail.  This comes after he was arrested a second time for violating an order of protection.

Thomas appeared for a bond hearing Friday morning.

Thomas allegedly contacted an ex boyfriend, Chadwick Spencer, 18, via Instagram earlier this month — prompting state police to launch an investigation. Thomas’s next court date is April 14th.
